  1. immediately the thought which came to my mind was ..oh, how very much we have changed because of (dare I say?) the internet.
    it simply seems to me we get generated suggestions of what we might watch after we watch (whatever film in any genre). I am not blaming the internet, it just seems to me that things have evolved in that direction and has a great deal to do with it.

    1. I thought it interesting that the quote is from when the internet was only starting to take off (’97). Made me wonder if it was one of things that have always existed (e.g. people from a least as far back as Socrates have been complaining about the youth of the day) and perhaps the internet is not the cause but just the means used today.
